Tales of a Foodie | 24103023 | Mehedi Hasan Fardin(Sec-53)

Exploring food or restaurants is one of my most favourite activities to do. Foodie adventures are the best adventures.I always enjoy watching reels or videos about new aesthetically pleasing restaurants in town. I explore their food and menus extensively. Exploring new foods and restaurants can be both fun and interesting. It offers an opportunity to explore different flavours, cuisines, and cooking traditions from around the world. Each restaurant visit can be an adventure from trying unique dishes to experiencing different dining atmospheres.

I really enjoy taking aesthetic pictures of food and the ambiance of restaurants. Sometimes my friends tease me for constantly snapping photos of food, but I don’t mind because I enjoy capturing these short periods of beauty in life.

Some restaurant atmospheres are so photogenic and soothing for the eyes, like Boho, Óle by TR, Terracotta Tales, The Courtyard at Park Heights, Cafe Park, Zen, Mamagocho, La mirchi and many more. My most favorite Asian fusion restaurant is Yum Cha District, where their Chicken Nanban is exceptional. Digggers is my favorite pizza place. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had is their Steak on Dough. Chillox’s burger is always on top.But recently, a burger restaurant named ‘Smashed Burgers’ launched, and I think it will be very competitive for Chillox. For steak, I would recommend the steak from Woodhouse Grill. There is a Japanese restaurant named ‘Kiyoshi’; their sushi is top-notch.The top-rated restaurant for ramen is ‘Tokyo Kitchen.’ For Indian cuisines, there's many recommendations.

Street food is the answer to everything: quick, delicious, and full of soul. Good food is good mood, especially when it’s cooked on the street with love.I never miss the chance to try new street food items in town. Street foods in Puran Dhaka, Baily Road, Khilgaon, Mohammadpur, and Mirpur is well-known.

The most hyped and my favourite dish is Sultan Dine Kacchi. One of the most overhyped biryanis is Hazir Biryani from Puran Dhaka.Talking about overhyped restaurants, Pizzaburg’s pizza is so overhyped. For fast food items, I highly recommend Khanas. Their Naga Wings, Truffle Fries, and Beef Cheddar and other foods are quite reasonable and tasty. An unpopular opinion, which I think is becoming popular, is that BFC’s fried chicken is better than KFC’s.If you want to try Bengali dishes in an aesthetic ambience, then JatraBiroti, Terracotta Tales, Tagore Terrace and Babumoshai are recommended places.

For desserts, The Chocolate Room BD and Secret Recipe are the best in town. Secret Recipe’s cheesecake tastes mouth watering .

There are so many cafes in our town: Crimson Cup, North End Coffee Roasters, Tabaq Coffee, Gloria Jean’s Coffees, Awake Coffee Roasters, and many more. Crimson Cup’s Hot Chocolate and Snickers Mocha Freeze are the best. North End’s Hazelnut and White Chocolate Cream Freddos are recommended for your coffee time. For mocktails and matcha drinks, go to Evviva in Banani. For bubble tea shops or boba drinks, I recommend Chatime, Gotcha, Chamichi, and KOI.

Food is my love language. Exploring food and new restaurants is an enjoyable experience that offers a good and quality time with family and friends. Whether you’re trying a local street food vendor or a high-end fine dining atmosphere, each dining experience tells a unique story of flavours, techniques, and traditions. This activity not only satisfies the taste buds but also leads to mental relaxation among friends and family.
