Casper's Pawsitivity 🐾:"How my cat redefined us"(Raisa Ahmed _24304249_Sec53)

Bringing my cat Casper home wasn't an easy task when you belong from an asian family where your mother literally spends not just 24 hours but her whole life keeping the house clean and perfect. And we all know how messy, mischievous and naughty a kitten can be spreading it's furr unknowingly all around the house. Months after months I sticked to her all the time like a lizard, convincing her about the positivity and joy a cat brings to someone's life besides messing up the house. At last,she gave up in front of my supernatural brainwashing power and gave the permission to bring in the furry ball. At that time, I felt like i was the luckiest one in this world and my mother seemed like a lively lovely angel to me!

It was finally the day when me and my father went to bring my Persian furry ball. The moment we came home with the kitten my mother opened the door,she grabbed him like a newborn baby and became so emotional as if her third child was born. Me,my brother and my father were in a "happy shocking stage" as my mother's reaction was priceless at the same time unexpected.

She took her to her bedroom and told us that from now on she would not be available to even prepare our food or anything as she would be occupied by the kitten. We were like not a problem at all maa it's fine just enjoy and love the kitten. That evening and night went by playing, feeding and welcoming the 2-month-old furry ball to our family.

He is a huge furry ball with long white whiskers, adorable eyes,pink nose. Everyone was overwhelmed to name him. By looking at him i was thinking of only about the cartoon named ' Casper the white ghost '. After sharing it we ended up naming him Casper. Though he has a tons of nicknames.

 Casper is now permanently a huge part of our family and an inseperable part of our life. He is more than just a pet to us. Casper's presence has led to a significant change in our emotional wellbeing. I know that family arguments, parents arguments is normalized but feeling lonely even though we are a family of 4 was something unexplainable. And each of the members was facing the same. This gap among the family members and something similar to hatred was growing and growing and of course the monotonous life of ours was also a huge thing. We were aware of it but couldn't solve it somehow. But from the day Casper came into our lives it literally changed everything. 

The way Casper bridged the gap between the family members and created a loving connection has encouraged us to be more open and engaging. Isn't it incredible how a cat act as a catalyst in solving any sensitive problem!

His unconditional love and affection offer a break from life's pressure, making every challenging day a little bit  easier to bear. His impact extends far beyond what i could have imagined reminding that even the smallest being can have the greatest impacts.
